How We Work

Stage 1 – Idea Refinement and Project Planning

If you are looking to expand into the app market but your idea is still in the draft or conceptual stage, then our team of experienced developers and designers can help you grow and refine your idea into a fully formed spec.

Once provided with a specification for your app, either collaboratively or directly, we will review your documentation and offer any suitable suggestions or alternative approaches to help ensure that your users will receive the best possible experience. Additionally, we often create wireframe models to assist the written specification in illustrating key features of the app.

We then establish the budget and timeline for the project based on the agreed specification and from this will provide a formal itemised quote.

Stage 2 – Development

During the development phase, our experienced team will bring your idea to life, meeting our high standards of quality, stability and performance. On request we can provide you with the latest development build of your app, allowing you to see your it’s progress.

After the initial development has been completed the app will pass through our internal testing procedures and then be supplied to you for your own testing.

Stage 3 – App Submission and Release

At this point, the development and testing has been completed and the app has been agreed ready for release. We will send you our App Store submission template for you to enter all the marketing information required to submit your app to Apple.

We then submit your app for review via our developer account. Apple’s review process can take up to 14 days and we will keep you apprised as to the status of your app.

Once approved your app will go live in the App Store on a date and Apple price tier that you specify.

Alternatively, we can supply the app project for you to submit under your own developer license.

Stage 4 – Post Release

We will retain a copy of the completed project so that any future development can be continued from where it was last left with minimal delay. This enables us to swiftly deliver bug fixes and updates where necessary. All minor bug fixes within 30 days of release are complementary.

If you’re charging for your app then we will supply monthly balance updates which you then collect, as described in our app revenue policy.
